*Blushes*
(I'm thinking of maybe cutting my hair that short...lol...watcha guys think?)
After Church, I attended yet another party.
It was a "house warming party" It's where you "bless" the house and drive away the "evil spirits". It's a Filipino and Roman Catholic tradition. There were Nuns, and priests in training that came to the party. For the first hour I hung out with my friend Ann Marie in her room...till she had to come out and help "bless" the house by holding the virgin mary and walk around the house while the nun sprinkled holy water and said prayers. The next few hours was full of "Hail Mary's" (said over fifty times), and "prayers" .
I didn't take part with anything. Because I do not believe in what they believed, but I did bow my head, or kneel in respect. I didn't agree with the teachings, or with the "Scapular" and that it would keep you away from Hell. OR the indulgences (SP?).
One of the priests in training was so cute! (he was Filipino. Everybody at the party was.) When I attended the "prayers" I caught myself staring at him. "Advert your gaze, advert your gaze, ADVERT YOUR GAZE!!" I kept on repeating to myself. But I just couldn't stop staring. I felt like a stupid school girl...with all the shy silent gazing. When he looked at me I hurridly looked at the ground and felt so embarrassed.
It's sad isn't it? he's to become a priest, and I have an infatuation with him. Ack, I'm such a silly girl. To make a long story short, I started talking to the nuns (WHO I ABSOBALLYLOOTELY ADORE!!! I love them!) and one of the priests in training sang to me while one of the nuns played the guitar. Normaly I would have been embarrassed, but he was a priest in training (not the one that I like), so I drenched him with smiles and I drowned them with attention. I chatted with one of the nuns like she was my best friend. And I flirted shamelessly with the priest in training. Haha! it was so shocking and funny! Ann Marie was so surprised at me for going right ahead and talking to all the Nuns and Priests in training. Oh my,the flirting was appearant that EVERYBODY guessed that I had a crush on the guy. *Falls over laughing* it will soon pass. He's nineteen, and so was the other P.I.T. *cough cough*.Yeah. It will soon pass. I wont see him again, and I'll probably see somebody new.
I can just see my dad and my best friends tut-tutting at this post. "Christina! How could YOU?"
I don't know what came over me. Hahaha! it was fun, and I had a GREAT time.

haha i cut my hair even shorter...well it was at the very end of may so it has grown a tedial bit...anywho not my reason for posting, but i found it very funny that you saw nuns the same time i saw nuns. I spent ALL last week at band camp (yes band camp) and there was a nun convention going on it was wonderfully funny because my friend hannah didn't know that the nuns were arriving while she was shaking her butt in our window! Plus the nuns slept on the floor above us so we called our dorm house the nunery. I guess you had to be there for it to be oh so funny...anyway i best be going i'm off to xc (cross country) camp oh the joy.
