Ugh. Cherise, some of your friends friends friends are sooo freaken hot! how do they manage it? UNFAIR I say. I'm INSANELY jealous. And I mean, girls...not guys. I wouldn't be jealous of guys looks would I?
*Goes off muttering something about cooking "dinner"*
*Sighs, taps fingers impatiently. Gets up and bangs pots and pans till they dent. Then sits down again.*
*Grumbles, and bangs head on keyboard*
*Takes another look at friends friends friends blog pictures. Starts weeping. Starts crying. Starts sobbing. Starts sniveling.*
*Mutters something evil. Picks up a butter knife and stalks out of the house*

hey! well your post reminded me of this song by barlow girl. i struggle with this too, not being content with the beauty God has given me. I'm just reminded that what the world calls "beauty" isn't real beauty. What's really beautiful is a heart that seeks after Christ and longs to be more like Him. Looks are not the important thing.
"do not let your adorning be external - the braiding of hair, the wearing of gold, or the putting on of clothing - but let your HEART with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is God's sight is very precious." 1 pet. 3:3-4
