Cold Hearted Girl...

I saw the movie "King Kong" and I have concluded that I am a heartless wench.

I feel terrible about not having any "BIG" feelings for Kong as he fell off the empire state building leaving the blondie, Ann, her blue colored eyes brimming with tears. Gee, I admit I did have a slight feeling of pity for Kong as he tried to fight off the planes...but the whole entire plot of the movie "King Kong" was a woman falling in "love" with an ape, as a friend pointed out to me. Not to rain on anybody's parade, but, I thought Kong was extremely annoying, Ann screamed exactly sixteen times which was also annoying,(not counting squeals, grunts, and screeches.)And the idea of ape and woman in love leaving poor Adrian Brody all alone is very irritating to me. All together the movie was cheesy. *Sigh* I feel sorry for Kong, he doesnt get any feelings from me.

Kitchen Wars: Christina vs. Pressure Cooker

My lastest cooking disaster.

For breakfast I planned to make split pea soup because of the cold, and since Andrew doesnt like any type of veggies, I also planned baked chicken. I didn't mind making extra just for Andrew, (normaly I would mind, I'd be furious!) but baking chicken in the oven ment that the oven had to heat up, and when I open the oven to get the chicken the heat would come into the kitchen and warm everything up.

Brekkist started a little late because I stayed in the bedroom avoiding the cold. I came out and started to prepare. I called my dad asking him for tips about cooking split pea soup. He said I should use the pressure cooker which would be faster, instead of waiting an hour for the pea's to cook.

I egged and breaded the chicken and put it in the oven, next came the peas, everything went like clockwork, I closed the pressure cooker lid with ease. Then, yeah, the soup started to boil over. I called my dad to ask him what went wrong. To much water. So I had to take out some of the water. I couldnt open the lid!! AURGH! I almost had an emotional breakdown! it took me about forty-five minutes to open the lid. (I won the war! mwahaha!)
But I found that the pressure cooker had its revenge on me. The forty-five minutes of labor turned my peas into an unappetizing looking sea of green gloop. *Sobs*

*Sigh*

Thank goodness I KNOW how to bake chicken. The chicken turned out to be really good. And the green goop doesnt taste bad, it tastes just like split pea soup. The only set back is that it doesnt look very good.

*Sigh*

Went to the mall AGAIN! now I seriously need to do something better than that! Im seeing the signs that I have been at the mall tooo much these last few days. Like, now I officialy know a bunch of people that work at the mall, Me and Ann Marie are seeing the same people who play DDR at the arcade AND we talk to them!! I have a crush on a guy who I ALWAYS see at the mall...playing DDR (he was actually the guy who I thought was Joseph! hahahaha! yeah, I know you guys are dying of laughter right now, KATHERINE! EMILY! AND KATELYNN! yes, you know what he looks like, curly hair and all. Except that this guy is really tall, he's punk, he's blonde, AND he's HOT. Sorry, lil odd of me right there, but oh well!)
Oi, Katherine, I saw Tyler! he scares me. I have no idea why! he was staring at me today when I was waiting in your line, he was looking at me like, well, Im not exactly sure if he was thinking this, but he was looking at me like I was some alien or something. I was so scared, that I ran back to Ann Marie and Sarah, I waited till your line was short and came back for that Ice tea. I know, Im being weird. But he scared me! haha! and IM NEVER scared! until that moment! and I know he's a nice guy from what you have been telling me. But...but..! well, maybe it was the way I was dressed that made me feel so icky. My tank top was a little low, eh.
Anywhom! the pictures I promised of my haircut!

Drawing pictures...

Im going to start uploading my pictures that I have drawn, so you guys can praise or criticize. And you don't have to worry about it being all anime or manga, I do enjoy drawing real people and other "nature based" stuff. After I get done working on my latest picture on the computer I'll post it on here. Yes, I know most you guys HATE anime, but you have to at lease look at my little anime girl!

Anyhow, despite the cold weather spring is coming as you can so clearly see in these pictures. Speaking of spring, I just got my hair cut. I don't know about you, but when I was getting my hair cut it felt like I was getting part of me cut up and it sent shivers up my spine whenever my mom sniped away at my hair. (Maybe it's just because I had really long hair.) I don't think I look "too" different, just that my hair is short now. (Pictures of my hair cut tomorrow!)

Pigs Feet

I personaly have more respect for people who are willing to try new foods without fear or hesitation. Like my friend Sarah, who willingly trys the filippino dishes (that she has never seen) and later finds that she enjoys them.
I dislike picky eaters, but not as much as I dislike people who, when they see something new, or something not to their taste, start jeering at the food.
"Ewww! whats that?" or "UGH! it looks like dog puke!", yeah, I know thats rude, but it isnt as bad as the people who TRY to be polite. "Oh, thats, erm, interesting" then give you and it that "look", (raised eyebrows, the lips in a straight line, and that aura of hostility.)
They don't even try the food to see if its to their liking or not, they make up their mind right then and there, that they don't like it and refuse to even look at it.

Being raised in a filipino family is most probably what saved me from being a picky american eater. And being filippino, we were BORN to eat.
When I was little I was urged to try each and every dish at a party. I understand like there are some dishes that people do NOT want to try, but they can at lease do without the nasty comments and superficial politeness.
If you don't think you will like it, then don't eat it. Just try not to make fun, or give that "look" while you pass the dish. Okay, so this might sound like Im scolding some of my friends, (you know who you are...) but Im not. I respect your tastes, and you can make fun of my food if you want, cause I don't care...it's my food and I think it's delicious. (Even if you do think it looks like dog puke.) And Im not saying that all americans are picky, there ARE adventurous american eaters, and there are VERY picky filipino eaters. So without further ado, I guess I shall announce what I tried during dinner... YOU GUESSED IT! pigs feet! yeah, it looks "interesting" but it isnt all that bad, I think what freaks out most people is that its what the pigs walk on, their feet. Anyways, like I said, it isnt that bad... it actually is a bunch of fat. And if you have ever eaten barbecued pork, and ate the fat, that is exactly what pigs feet tastes like, just normal fat.
So I didnt really like the pigs feet, (Im not a big fan of fat), but at lease I can say that I tried it, and I do not like it.

AHEMS!

From the side, I look like Chihiro from "Spirited Away". Well not exactly, but pretty close. (Not a very good picture of me, heh! had to say that. Im very critical of how I look) Yeah yeah! I know! anime anime anime is all I can talk about these days. But I can't help talking about what I like! So what about a breath of fresh air? yeah, go and open a window or something. Better yet, step away from the computer if you don't like it. *Sigh*, *scratches head* well, you can come back now...(or close the window) Im not gonna talk about anime. I sort of had a little to much of it...I just finished watching the whole entire collection of "Figure 17" and the special features. And Im going to also watch "Gundam Wing" in a few hours. Yeeeeah. T.V. violence

Our next generation is going to suffer. I was at the dentist office observing an adorable little blonde haired boy who was about four years old playing with toys and talking to himself. This is what I overheard.

"Booshh! bam bam! hahaha! I need to shoot da girl! kill da girl! mwahahaha! bam bam bam! Mwahaha! I shot da girl in dee head! hehehe! girl dead now! ARUGHKKK! *screech* now Im going to get runded over! vroom vroom rund over by car! OUCH! mwahaha hehehe!"

...Adorable is NOT the correct word.

Girly or not?

Okay so most people say Im girly (...and I actually start to believe them when I find myself drooling at the latest fashion style.) But then I find myself enjoying action movies with soldiers, bullets flying by, blood and gore, and robots (I personaly enjoy Gundam Wing mecha robots). And that goes for video games as well! Halo, Halo 2, Rainbow Six 3, Splinter Cell, Star Wars battle front 2, and others that include any type of weapons of mass destruction for my complete and total use to annihilate my enemys (mwahaha!). As for sports, I enjoy Hockey and Football!

Hmm...

Maybe the fact that I grew up with a bunch of boys (Father, Uncle's, cousins, brothers, friends) explains why I like what I like. But then...

I like, shoes, clothing, boys, makeup, flirting, having a girly talk with some really close friends. Some people think IM a prep, some, a tom boy, others, think I am in between of everything.

Ha! I have a personality problem. Im so different from everybody, but Im happy Im not the same as them. One thing I know for sure is that I am, BLURFY! (whoohoo!) Yeah I know, doesnt make any type of sense, but I don't care what other people think about it, I'll blurf when I want to blurf! BLURF!

("People Laugh at me because Im different, I laugh at them because they're all the same.")

Went to the mall again...

yeah I know, I should really stay away from that place. I didn't want to go, but I had to get my friend a birthday gift. I got the gift...and you guessed it, my mom bought me some stuff to. Im not complaining, the stuff I got are pretty cute. One tee, two skirts, and really comfortable shoes.

T-shirt- I really wanted the shirt at Strawbridges, same style, except that the star was made of gold sequins. But it was fifteen dollars. This one is still cool.

Skirts one and two-so Im not to crazy about the pattern, but they really look good on me. And I like the ribbons :)

Shoes-soooo comfy.

I got all this at JCPenny, the Tee 9.99$, Skirts 2.77$, Shoes 9.99$. Total=25.52$ yipes! pff...shopping these days.

Living the quiet life

Today has be a very tranquil, nothing out of the ordinary, just peace and quiet. Skating outside in the sunshine, going out with my dad to get the car washed, driving (by myself) in a school parking lot, coming home and reading "Mansfield Park" for about two hours. I feel so relaxed.

*Sigh*

Learning Japanese...

I have been picking up the Japanese language bit by bit, and I have decided that I really do want to learn Japanese. So when I watch my anime movies (I always prefer the movies in their orginal language) I don't have to use the english subtitles. So far I only know a few Japanese words...and I am very excited about hearing the words I know in the movies. And I think I might learn it pretty quick, my dad learned english just by watching tv when he first came here in the united states. I think I might be able to do that with all the Japanese anime movies that I watch...and I watch ALOT of those movies.

is his name oscar?

Yes I know most of you guys out there hate anime. I only know a few people who like it. So for you anime haters stop reading now because I am about to praise the wonders of my beloved anime.

Are they gone yet? alrighty, now I shall continue without annoying comments.

I am sort of upset that "Howls Moving Castle" did not win the Best Animated Feature in the oscars. I didnt watch the Oscars, it's way better to wait the next day instead of staying up the whole night watching people give their long winded speeches of how grateful they are and how beautiful the golden naked man looks. And I am very glad that I didnt watch it, it sounded so boring on the internet. Anywho, getting off the subject- back to my anime/manga... I cannot wait till Howls moving castle comes out tomorrow!! I am soooooooooo excited! (yeah, Im a total Hayao Miyazaki film stalker.) That also counts for every other type of anime. Now I really do want to go to Japan and stay for a while, for sure I would fit in just a tad, because I look like an asian person. And we asians all look alike.

Um, took the quiz from emilys blog and got an awesome result. So I guess im not that bad of an asian...

You are Elizabeth Bennet of Pride & Prejudice! You are intelligent, witty, and tremendously attractive. You have a good head on your shoulders, and oftentimes find yourself the lone beacon of reason in a sea of silliness. You take great pleasure in many things. You are proficient in nearly all of them, though you will never own it. Lest you seem too perfect, you have a tendency toward prejudgement that serves you very ill indeed.
~

Yay! Im lizzy! the prejudgemental part is sooo true but I am not to keen on the "tremendously attractive" part, thats for my friend Tori. ( Im so jealous of her looks...)

DKNY...Be Delicious.

I met some pretty interesting people at the mall today. Matt, and his..er..friend. Ann Marie "introduced" me to him.
I saw most of my friends to: Katherine, who was working at chick-fil-a, David walking around the mall with his friend, Melissa, Ann Marie and Ronald (they came with us to the mall), and Jimmy, well, he's not really my friend, just his little sister.

I have been SUCH a klutz today! I stepped on Ann Maries foot ten times, and I sprayed perfume all over my face, trust me, the dkny be delicious green apple perfume doesnt taste like green apples. It took me a couple of drinks to wash away the aftertaste. But my breath smelled great....didnt taste good though.

Well, thanks to Ann Marie, she has gotten me into some pretty interesting music which most of my friends would think is weird. Now, I bet she's going to try and turn me into a punk rock girl. Great.

ooooff....IM REALLY TIRED.
