The Fourth of July!

Wouldn't you know it.
It just HAD to rain on the fourth of July! Funny how weather can make people run helter-skelter into their cars. HAHA! Anyhow, we arived downtown to watch the fireworks. But they cancelled the program till seven-oh-clock, because of the thunderstorm watch.
Just after they announced that, buckets of rain fell from the sky (The streets even flooded). It stopped at seven, but then they cancelled the whole entire program (except for the fireworks which was at nine), because of the thunderstorm warning. After they announced that, a rolling loud rip of thunder sent some people screaming and running into their cars.

So my family and I, went to Wawa's! yeah, Wawa's... we got ice cream, chips, and drinks. I ate junk food to my hearts content. But I had to brush my teeth furiously when I got back home. Oh, and I am extreeemely jealous of Amish girls...the fact that I saw a few walk in and out Wawa's with some really cute guys. Okay sorry, back to the important stuff.
After that, we went back downtown. Waited, waited, and waited. Nine-oh-clock. No fireworks. Nine fifteen. No fireworks. Nine thirty. Still no fireworks. Ten ten. FINALLY!!!
The fireworks this year were better than last years! a WONDERFUL finale! it was awesome! okay, so I totaly missed out on seeing my friends, but what the heck. There's always next year.

(I still think the digi cam is one of the best inventions ever!) The blog only let's me post five pictures. Which stinks. Ah well.
