I say!

My parents got camera phones today.

Sweet.

I WOULD post the picture we took, but its sooo terrible I wouldnt dare. So, you will have to wait till I get a "nice" picture of me, or my familiy.

Ok, so I got one gift today, and tomorrow is christmas eve! *faints* I have ten people left to shop for! Aiya! how shameful.

I got some surpising news, remember the coconut macaroons I baked? well my dad took some to his work and he told me that it was a hit and everybody loved them. When he was telling me this I didn't pat myself on the back, or even give a sigh of relief! all I thought of was, "It wasnt even chocolate dipped, how could anybody like it...it was NOT dipped in chocolate!"

Christmas List

Yep, I know, Im posting again. I just felt like it, its been a long time since my xanga blog. So don't get all huffy that I post to much.

Im late on my Christmas list, so it doesnt matter if I don't get anything on it. Thats my fault.

1.) Anything Narnian
Most wanted Narnian Items
-William Moseley (ha! thats one gift I'll never get. *Sigh* to bad)
-Narnian Journal (its only 13 dollars...)
-Poster (hmm..I wonder who's going to give me that?)
-The insider book (darn, its 20 dollars)
-A plushie of Mr. Beaver (one that when you squeeze his paw he says "Im not going to smell it if thats what you want" to bad they havent even made plushies for the movie or books yet.)
-The cd'(s)

2.) Digi Cam (to expensive, so forget it)

3.) Phantom of the Opera the movie (on dvd mind you)

4.) Yarn (fuzzy, furry, flimsy, black, blue, red, green...it don't matter, Im a devoted knitter and need my yarn to knit. Im to cheap to buy myself some)

5.) Jeans (not the one with holes in them or paint splattered all over it, I can do that myself)

6.) DVD's of my favorite movies (I am NOT going to make a list, its way to long)

7.) Drawing pad with professional pencils (non of that cheapy number two pencils)

8.) One hundred dollars

9.) A box of Godiva chocolates (all for myself and nobody else. Im so selfish)

10.) All of my cousins to be at my Lola's house...

And thats about it! most of the stuff I want are narnia stuff, so get shopping. HINT HINT MA and DA!!!

I feel soooo BLEH this morning.Im very tired. If you have cooked breakfast, lunch, washed one million dishes, vacuumed one hundred times, picked up toys left and right, and watched two younger brothers for four whole days without your parents, while doing your studies, then you know how I feel. And its Thursday! My dad's supposed to be off, but he took overtime. 0_o I feel like a Mom, sometimes Andrew and Daniel accidentally call me Mama (hey! Im not that old looking!) *shivers* . Scary. So Me, Andrew and Daniel finished our breakfast at the table, right now Im just eating the rest of my breakfast while typing. I asked Andrew to do the dishes today because I was not feeling good, so nice, he agreed to do the dishes. Now I feel bad for not buying him a Christmas present yet.

UH OH! major trouble here! Daniel was balancing on the couch...and fell...It was a most unpleasant landing. Now I am babying him, so he's watching what Im typing right now.

Ok, what was I talking about? oh yes, Christmas presents. So far I have only bought one gift for one of my best friends. And one gift for my little girlfriend. I already got my Ma and Da's gift. This Friday Ma and Da are going Christmas shopping, and so am I. Just a little problem though. I don't have money. Geez.

Oh no! The Christmas Shoe song is on the radio! Boooo-hooooo! *crys*
*song ends*
Wow, I got through the song without drowning the fish with my tears. I'll go reward myself with a looong hot shower.

Wednesday

Yes, I am ashamed to admit my cooking skills are VERY poor. Oh I can cook eggs, roast beef, spaghetti, ham..., etc., all the easy stuff, plus prepared meals in boxes, (but I don't really like that kind of stuff).
I am trying to expand my culinary knowledge. So today in attempt TO expand my knowledge on cooking I started to cook Coconut Macaroons. I had everything ready. First batch of my coconut macaroons were on the verge of burning.

GREAT.

I put the second batch in the oven, after fifteen minutes of waiting for the cookies to cook, I find out the oven was off! so on goes the oven and I wait another fifteen minutes. The second batch was almost like the first batch. Third and last batch was semi perfect. I dare say they are pretty good. During all this I thought of dipping it in chocolate, like the girl scout cookies. So out comes the baking chocolate. The recipe called for semisweet chocolate but I only had UNSWEETEND chocolate. I shrugged, "Oh well, I'll just add sugar." The melted chocolate looked great, despite it being VERY VERY bitter, in the sugar went. I had a imaginary moment where I thought the chocolate was turning solid on me, so I added milk.

BIG mistake.

It turned fudge on me. AURGH!! oh well, all is fine now...I am just a little disappointed my coconut macaroons aren't dipped in chocolate. *Sigh* I guess I can't have everything.
